Here is what we finally settled on for Trick-or-Treating. Sophie ruined her blue dress that she had worn to the last party so she ended up rewearing her unicorn costume from last year. Ian wore the leopard costume that has been worn so many times I know we got our moneys worth. Henry wore the kangaroo costume which is another costume that has been worn for the last 3 years by someone. They had a great time going up and then down one street. Their bags were full and we now have 3 buckets of candy instead of the 1 we had from the Trunk-or-Treat. We didn't have many trick-or-treaters at our house. I think by the time we got home from our outing to beg for candy all the kids had gone home. So we are left now with way more candy then we need. I love that so many people handed out playdough this year. My kids are currently playing with their new supply and of course mixing all the colors.
When examining the candy, Ian was thrilled to see Reeces pieces. He has a Reece's pieces counts by fives book that is one of his favorites. He grabbed the book and opened the little package and layed out the candy on the book.
We have had a fun holiday and now we need to get back on schedule!

What a cool way to use your candy in your schooling.
