Thursday is our library day and since my kids are feeling better we needed our usual outing. So I returned my usual 30 books and checked out my usual book bag full of books. But what was great was the books that were on the used book shelf. There was this great Space book which will be perfect for when we study space next year.
It will give me a good outline to follow as our study the universe in the Fall next year.
I can never pass up a FIAR book when I see one on the shelf. We don't own volume 4 but a FIAR recommended book is always a good. I haven't read it but I know the title and so it came home with us.
This is one is a great find I think.
The complete set of History of Us wasn't there on the shelf but the first 7 books were and at $1.00 each I thought that was great! I have heard good things about this series. Sometime we will study US History and these will come in handy. I will just have to get my hands on the last 4 books but the 7 I have will get us through the Civil war and reconstruction which is a great start.
I actually had a copy of this book but it is always hard to pass up on a book that you know is good. I was going to post one copy onto Paperback swap but then I thought..... if any of you would like one of my copies of
Usborne Greek Myths for young children I would love it to go to a good home. It is a mini edition, hardback and in great shape. Just leave a comment and I will ship it to you. If more then one person wants it then I will randomly select someone. If nobody wants it then I will post it onto Paperbackswap. I will decide on Saturday night who gets it. So if you want it let me know.
