The younger kids, those 9 years old and younger, put on a play based on the children's book King Bidgood in the Bathtub.
Henry was thrilled because he got to be the king. He played the part well and even sang a song about not wanting to get out of the tub to start the play. He pretty much got to have a good time with whom ever came on stage to try to get him out of the tub. So he got to battle with the knight, fish with the duke, eat lunch with the queen and dance with the ladies of the court. All without getting out of his tub.
Ian was one of the pages that kept bringing in water to fill the tub.
His line was pretty much "Help, Help, King Bidgood is in the bathtub and he won't get out. Oh, who knows what to do".
The older kids in our co-op decided to put on a Shakespeare play. They picked a shortened version of The Winter's Tale. Sophie had three different roles in the play. I don't know if any of them actually had a name. She was a lady,
I spent most of this performance in the hall with Molly but I was told it was wonderful! The kids had a great time and I am sure they will remember it always.
